Kitten Deposit Policy
At Wild Prairie Rose Bengals, our primary goal is to find the best “forever homes” for our kittens. Because we stop marketing a kitten and turn away other potential families once a deposit is made, we adhere to the following policy:
1. Non-Refundable Nature of Deposits
All kitten deposits are strictly non-refundable. By placing a deposit, you are making a commitment to purchase a specific kitten and acknowledging that the deposit will not be returned if you change your mind, encounter a change in life circumstances, or decide not to proceed with the adoption for any reason.
2. Purpose of the Deposit
The deposit serves to:
• Reserve your chosen kitten and remove them from the “available” list.
• Cover administrative costs and continued care for the kitten while they wait to join your home.
• Demonstrate a serious commitment to the lifetime care of the animal.
3. Transferability
While deposits are non-refundable, we understand that timing can be unpredictable. At our sole discretion, we may allow a deposit to be transferred to a future litter if:
4. Right of Refusal
We reserve the right to cancel a reservation and refund a deposit at any time if we determine, in our sole professional judgment, that a home is not a suitable fit for one of our kittens. In this specific instance, and only this instance, the deposit will be refunded in full.
5. Final Payment
The remaining balance of the purchase price is due two weeks before the kittens go home date. Failure to pay the balance or show up for a scheduled pickup will result in the forfeiture of your deposit and the kitten being made available to other families.
